Before you go

• 500 runes

1. From the First Step, go north to the ruined Church of Elleh.
2. Talk to Kale beside the campfire and select Purchase.
3. Buy the first Nomadic Warrior book for 500 runes.

Notes

• Unlocks Bone Arrows, Bone Arrows (Fletched) and Bone Bolts.
• The book unlocks its recipes without being equipped or consumed. You also need the Crafting Kit from Kalé at the Church of Elleh to use Item Crafting.
• You keep the book and its recipes in later Journeys. Its number identifies the contents rather than a required collection order.
• Bone Arrow (Fletched): each craft makes 10, using 3 Thin Beast Bones and 1 Flight Pinion.
• Bone Arrow: each craft makes 10, using 3 Thin Beast Bones.
• Bone Bolt: each craft makes 10, using 2 Thin Beast Bones.
• Arrows use bows and bolts use crossbows. Fletched arrows also need Flight Pinions and travel better than the unfletched version.
• Each arrow recipe makes ten for three Thin Beast Bones. Ten bolts use two bones instead. The fletched arrows also spend a Flight Pinion.
