Before you go

• 1,500 runes

1. Descend from Lake-Facing Cliffs along the southern Liurnia road.
2. At Liurnia Lake Shore, look for the merchant sitting by a campfire beside the grace.
3. Open his shop and buy the cookbook for 1,500 runes.

Notes

• Unlocks Crystal Darts, Spellproof Dried Liver and Shattershard Arrows.
• The book unlocks its recipes without being equipped or consumed. You also need the Crafting Kit from Kalé at the Church of Elleh to use Item Crafting.
• You keep the book and its recipes in later Journeys. Its number identifies the contents rather than a required collection order.
• Spellproof Dried Liver: each craft makes 1, using 3 Rowa Fruit, 1 Beast Liver, and 2 Glintstone Firefly.
• Crystal Dart: each craft makes 5, using 3 Cracked Crystal.
• Shattershard Arrow: each craft makes 10, using 3 Thin Beast Bones and 2 Cracked Crystal.
• Crystal Darts can disrupt certain stone constructs after repeated hits. Spellproof Dried Liver temporarily improves magic defense.
• Crystal Darts use FP when thrown; Shattershard Arrows need a bow. Crafting a stack does not make the two items interchangeable.
