Nomadic Merchant beside Bellum Church

Liurnia of the Lakes

Starting Site of Grace: Bellum Church

Before you go

• 2,000 runes

1. One checked approach to Bellum Highway uses the Academy Glintstone Key. Collect it behind the sleeping dragon north of Temple Quarter, then examine the seal at South Raya Lucaria Gate to reach Main Academy Gate.
2. From Main Academy Gate, examine the other blue seal at the northeast end of the junction. It takes you across the broken bridge to East Raya Lucaria Gate; walking along the broken bridge itself does not cross the gap.
3. Ride north along Bellum Highway and turn toward Bellum Church on the left side of the road. Activate its grace.
4. Use the broken floor and descending path through the church ruins to reach the merchant camp just north of the church. The merchant is below the church approach, not beside its statue.
5. Buy the cookbook for 2,000 runes. You do not need to activate Grand Lift of Dectus or defeat an academy boss for this purchase.

Notes

• Unlocks Bone Great Arrows, Bone Great Arrows (Fletched) and Bone Ballista Bolts.
• The book unlocks its recipes without being equipped or consumed. You also need the Crafting Kit from Kalé at the Church of Elleh to use Item Crafting.
• You keep the book and its recipes in later Journeys. Its number identifies the contents rather than a required collection order.
• Bone Great Arrow (Fletched): each craft makes 5, using 1 Hefty Beast Bone and 1 Flight Pinion.
• Bone Great Arrow: each craft makes 5, using 1 Hefty Beast Bone.
• Bone Ballista Bolt: each craft makes 5, using 1 Hefty Beast Bone.
• These are large ammunition types for greatbows and ballista weapons. Ordinary bows and crossbows cannot use them.
• Each recipe makes five and uses Hefty Beast Bone. The fletched greatarrow also uses a Flight Pinion. These materials and quantities are separate from ordinary bone arrows and bolts.
