Before you go

• 4,000 runes

1. Follow the road along the southern edge of the Swamp of Aeonia.
2. Search southwest of Southern Aeonia Swamp Bank near the road fork and map monument for the merchant's camp.
3. Choose Purchase and buy the cookbook for 4,000 runes.

Notes

• Unlocks Rotbone Arrows, Rotbone Arrows (Fletched) and Rotbone Bolts.
• The book unlocks its recipes without being equipped or consumed. You also need the Crafting Kit from Kalé at the Church of Elleh to use Item Crafting.
• You keep the book and its recipes in later Journeys. Its number identifies the contents rather than a required collection order.
• Rotbone Arrow (Fletched): each craft makes 10, using 3 Thin Beast Bones, 1 Flight Pinion, and 1 Aeonian Butterfly.
• Rotbone Arrow: each craft makes 10, using 3 Thin Beast Bones and 1 Aeonian Butterfly.
• Rotbone Bolt: each craft makes 10, using 2 Thin Beast Bones and 1 Aeonian Butterfly.
• The ammunition uses Aeonian Butterflies. Check that your target can suffer scarlet rot before spending them.
• One Aeonian Butterfly makes ten arrows or bolts. Choose the ammunition your weapon uses before spending a limited butterfly supply.
