Starting Site of Grace: Fort Haight West

1. Ride east from Fort Haight West and climb the approach to the fort, watching the soldiers and Pumpkin Head.
2. Enter the gate and climb the first set of stairs inside.
3. Before climbing the tall tower, enter the dark room off the stairway.
4. Loot the cookbook inside. The medallion half is in a different chest farther up the tower.

Notes

• Unlocks Blood Grease, Drawstring Blood Grease, Bloodbone Arrows, Bloodbone Arrows (Fletched) and Bloodbone Bolts.
• The book unlocks its recipes without being equipped or consumed. You also need the Crafting Kit from Kalé at the Church of Elleh to use Item Crafting.
• You keep the book and its recipes in later Journeys. Its number identifies the contents rather than a required collection order.
• Blood Grease: each craft makes 1, using 1 Root Resin and 1 Bloodrose.
• Drawstring Blood Grease: each craft makes 1, using 1 Root Resin, 1 Bloodrose, and 1 String.
• Bloodbone Arrow (Fletched): each craft makes 10, using 3 Thin Beast Bones, 1 Bloodrose, and 1 Flight Pinion.
• Bloodbone Arrow: each craft makes 10, using 3 Thin Beast Bones and 1 Bloodrose.
• Bloodbone Bolt: each craft makes 10, using 2 Thin Beast Bones and 1 Bloodrose.
• Blood grease requires a compatible weapon with an affinity that allows coatings. The arrows and bolts let you apply blood loss buildup at range.
• One Bloodrose makes ten Bloodbone Arrows or Bolts, but only one grease. Fletched arrows need a Flight Pinion as well.
