About this item

Break the nearby stack of stones to open a sealed spiritspring. The sealing cairn can be on a ledge above the air column rather than beside it at ground level.

The note is optional. Finding and breaking the cairn works without owning the clue or finishing Moore's quest.

Margit's Shackle can also break a nearby sealing cairn with its wide invisible effect, including through intervening terrain. It still needs the cairn within range; using it anywhere in the region does not unlock every spring.

Notes

  • Break the nearby stack of stones to open a sealed spiritspring. The sealing cairn can be on a ledge above the air column rather than beside it at ground level.
  • The note is optional. Finding and breaking the cairn works without owning the clue or finishing Moore's quest.
  • Margit's Shackle can also break a nearby sealing cairn with its wide invisible effect, including through intervening terrain. It still needs the cairn within range; using it anywhere in the region does not unlock every spring.
  • Moore sells one for 1,000 runes at Main Gate Cross. His bearing preserves the unbought note if he later leaves and dies.
  • Opening a spiritspring does not summon Torrent in areas that prohibit him. Use the unlocked spring while mounted where riding is allowed, and aim for its reachable landing.
  • Read it in the inventory's Info tab. It does not need to be equipped to provide its clue.
