Nox Swordstress and Nox Priest

The pair behind Sellia’s sealed doorway combines long-reaching flowing weapons in one arena.

Location and access

Sellia, Town of Sorcery

Nox Swordstress and Nox Priest

Sellia, Town of Sorcery

Starting Site of Grace: Sellia Under-Stair

Before you go

  • Light the three braziers on Sellia's towers.
  1. From Southern Aeonia Swamp Bank, follow the road north through Sellia Gateway. Watch for the giant throwing rocks above the gateway. Gowry's wooden shack is off the road on the right, before the town.
  2. Continue north into Sellia, Town of Sorcery. Activate Sellia Under-Stair on the southwestern edge and follow the main street north, watching for sorcerers appearing beside the buildings.
  3. Climb the stairs at the far end toward the golden sapling and the sealed upper gate. The large roots beside these steps provide the way onto the roofs.
  4. Near the sapling, look southwest through the broken railing for a root leading toward the nearest candle tower. Follow it, climb the tower ladder and interact with the flame at the top.
  5. Return to the upper steps and use the root again, this time stepping onto the adjoining roofs. Work south and east across the roofs and branches toward the eastern tower. Use Torrent's double jump for the gaps and climb the ladder to light its flame.
  6. From that eastern roof route, head back across the connecting roots and roofs toward the southern tower on the western side. The narrow approach has a corpse with a Stonesword Key. Climb the ladder and light the third flame.
  7. All three flames remove the town's different blue barriers. Return to ground level to collect the particular reward you came for; lighting the towers does not automatically put the chest items in your inventory.
  8. Go to the large lower doorway on Sellia's northwestern side. After the seals are removed, this entrance has the boss fog for Nox Swordstress and Nox Monk.
  9. Defeat Nox Swordstress and Nox Monk together to receive Nox Flowing Sword directly. The chest beneath the enormous stone seat contains Lusat's Glintstone Staff instead.

Notes

  • Defeat both for Nox Flowing Sword. Lusat’s Glintstone Staff is in the separate chest beneath the large stone seat afterward.
  • Light Sellia’s candle towers to remove the town’s blue seals. The sword is not automatically added when the seals open.
  • Keep both enemies visible. Their flexible weapons can reach farther than their relaxed poses suggest.
  • Use a short opening against the nearer opponent instead of running past it directly into the other one.
  • A Spirit Ash can help divide their attention, but wide weapon swings can still catch you beside the summon.
  • This encounter is in the town itself. The Fallingstar Beast in Sellia Crystal Tunnel and Hugues in Sellia Evergaol have separate routes.
