The Onyx Lord behind Caria Manor combines curved-sword attacks with gravity sorcery.

Location and access

Royal Grave Evergaol

Onyx Lord (Royal Grave Evergaol)

Royal Grave Evergaol

Starting Site of Grace: Behind Caria Manor

  1. Reach the western Liurnia road and follow it north through Kingsrealm Ruins. Strike the illusory wall blocking the road at the northern end, then continue past Iji at Road to the Manor.
  2. Ride toward the large manor while avoiding the magical strikes falling along the approach. Activate Main Caria Manor Gate grace at the entrance.
  3. Inside, follow the courtyard path northwest toward the building in the far corner. Fingercreepers hide among the plants and beneath the ground; do not stop on a buried hand.
  4. Enter the building with the seated spirit and climb its stairs to Manor Lower Level grace.
  5. Take the elevated walkways east and continue straight along the main route at the first junction. Spectral soldiers appear along the bridges. Reach the far building and take its lift up to Manor Upper Level.
  6. Leave the upper grace, pass the wolves in the garden and climb the main stone stairway toward the Troll Knight and sorcerers.
  7. Continue up the stairs beyond the troll and Pages to the large circular courtyard. Defeat Royal Knight Loretta, then activate Royal Moongazing Grounds grace.
  8. Leave Loretta's arena through the rear exit into Three Sisters. Follow the eastern route around the back of the manor to Behind Caria Manor grace.
  9. Continue east across the graveyard to Royal Grave Evergaol. Interact with its center and defeat the Onyx Lord inside for Meteorite. Advancing Ranni's quest is unnecessary.

Notes

  • The reward is Meteorite. Onyx Lord’s Greatsword comes from the separate Sealed Tunnel encounter.
  • The selected approach passes through Caria Manor and Royal Knight Loretta’s arena. Advancing Ranni’s quest is unnecessary.
  • Spirit Ashes and cooperative summons cannot enter this evergaol.
  • Watch for the meteor casting rather than assuming a distant enemy is giving you a safe healing window.
  • The prison is east of Behind Caria Manor grace. The Three Sisters towers and their sealed doors are separate from this fight.
  • Keep enough stamina after a dodge to respond to the sword follow-up, especially when fighting near the prison boundary.
