Starting Site of Grace: Auriza Side Tomb

1. From Outer Wall Battleground outside Leyndell, ride east and take the lower southeastern path beneath the bridge toward the capital. Follow the low ground north, keeping clear of the Runebear in the wooded area.
2. Find Auriza Side Tomb in the northern cliff. Auriza Hero's Grave is the separate entrance farther south. Enter the side tomb and activate its grace.
3. Descend past the locked boss doors, then continue northeast down the stairs through the small jars. Yellow-topped jars explode, so clear them from a distance or retreat when they rush.
4. At the end of the initial route, open the chest and remain in its mist to be transported. From the similar room where you arrive, go straight down the stairs and then down the next flight.
5. Clear the imps in the lower chamber. Take its southwestern doorway down into the watery room, then turn right beneath the platform and use the northwestern passage.
6. In the next room, watch for the imp immediately on the left and the one throwing projectiles from above. Open the main chest at the far end of the carpet, rather than the separate chest behind the illusory side wall.
7. This chest brings you behind the prison bars with two large Living Jars. Defeat or avoid them and collect Perfumer's Cookbook (3) from the corpse. The two Cracked Pots are separate pickups.
8. Use the chest in this enclosed room to return. You do not need the boss lever or Grave Warden Duelist for the cookbook. If you have already used other chests, matching rooms can belong to different versions of the tomb, so start this sequence again from the entrance grace.

Notes

• Unlocks Ironjar Aromatic. One craft makes one from two Altus Blooms, one Budding Cave Moss and three Living Jar Shards, using an empty Perfume Bottle.
• Ironjar Aromatic costs 18 FP and lasts 40 seconds. It reduces physical damage taken by 40%, resists many ordinary staggers and can make lighter enemy attacks bounce off your body.
• The tradeoffs are slow movement, heavy dodges and 60% more Lightning damage taken. Its physical protection does not protect you from that Lightning penalty.
• The iron effect occupies the body-buff slot and prevents a second ordinary body buff from simply being added. Perfumer's Talisman does not strengthen its protection.
• Using the aromatic frees its Perfume Bottle for another mixture. The three Living Jar Shards and other ingredients are spent each time, so a reusable bottle does not mean unlimited free uses.
• The book is behind bars reached by the main transporter chest. The side chest behind an illusory wall is for the tomb's separate mirrored-layout route and is unnecessary for this pickup.
• Collecting the book unlocks its recipe without equipping or consuming it. You also need the Crafting Kit from Kale at the Church of Elleh. The recipe stays unlocked in later Journeys; other numbered volumes are not prerequisites.
