Before you go
Both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion are required for the normal route.
Collect the Haligtree Secret Medallion's right half from Albus in the Village of the Albinaurics and its left half beyond Commander Niall in Castle Sol.
At the Grand Lift of Rold, switch the prompt to Hoist Secret Medallion. Pass through the Hidden Path to the Haligtree and continue through the Snowfield to Ordina.
From Ordina, head east toward the Minor Erdtree. You do not need to enter the evergaol or solve the town's puzzle for this tree.
Defeat the Putrid Avatar beneath it. The reward includes Thorny Cracked Tear and the second Ruptured Crystal Tear.

It awards Thorny Cracked Tear and a second Ruptured Crystal Tear. You receive both for completing the encounter.
Ordina’s evergaol puzzle is unnecessary for this tree. The fight is on the outdoor Snowfield side, before the Haligtree portal.
Both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion are needed for the selected approach. The ordinary Rold destination leads elsewhere.
Keep an escape route out of the rot patches before attacking again after a slam.
This is separate from the Avatar in the ordinary Mountaintops. Reaching Castle Sol’s region alone does not put you on this tree’s plateau.
