Ralva rises in the wooded pond east of the main Scadu Altus road.

Starting Site of Grace: Highroad Cross
To enter the Realm of Shadow, defeat Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, then touch the withered arm in Mohg's arena at Mohgwyn Palace.
From Highroad Cross, follow the road north toward the Shadow Keep soldier camp. Turn east into the woods, toward the pond north of Moorth Ruins and east of the Scadu Altus map monument.
Enter the woodland pond and defeat Ralva the Great Red Bear for Pelt of Ralva. The nearby clothing corpse is separate. Rugalea in Rauh Base and Red Bear inside the northern mausoleum give different rewards.

Defeating Ralva awards Pelt of Ralva. The nearby clothing corpse is a separate pickup.
This is not Rugalea in Rauh Base, which awards Roar of Rugalea, or Red Bear in the northern mausoleum.
The quick forward rush can catch a long heal from what looks like a comfortable distance.
Watch for the raised-body grab when fighting close. A shield does not make that approach safe.
Use open pond space and keep the surrounding trees out of your dodge path.
The selected route branches east from the road toward Shadow Keep. Entering the keep is unnecessary for the pelt.
