In-game description

Red mushroom that grows in sullen lands. Material used for crafting items.

Easily found everywhere in the realm of shadow.

The flesh of the mushroom is similar to raw meat and can serve as pot innards.

Where to find

Roadside growths near Prospect Town

Gravesite Plain

Starting Site of Grace: Cliffroad Terminus

Before you go

  • Enter the Realm of Shadow.
  1. Take the southeastern cliff path from Main Gate Cross to Cliffroad Terminus, outside Prospect Town.
  2. Check the grassy ground and the road south of the grace for the red mushrooms. Gather the clusters without going into the Bloodfiend-filled ruins.
  3. Rest at the grace and return to the same plants for another gathering loop.

Hanging pot near Rivermouth Cave

Gravesite Plain

Starting Site of Grace: Ellac River Cave

Before you go

  • Enter the Realm of Shadow.
  • Bring a ranged attack for the hanging pot.
  1. From Castle Front, ride southeast to the road fork and take the downhill route through the camp.
  2. At the next fork, go left toward the poison pools. Near the large Miranda flower, take the lower slope toward the crab and cave entrance.
  3. Pass the flowers, enter Ellac River Cave and activate its grace.
  4. Leave the cave toward the river and follow the water northwest to Rivermouth Cave. Stay at the bottom of the ravine.
  5. Continue around the cliff west of Rivermouth Cave and look up for the pot hanging from the high rock wall.
  6. Break it with a ranged attack and pick up the bearing from the ground beneath it.
  7. Offer the bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold.
  8. Buy Redflesh Mushroom from the unlocked main shop for 1,500 runes each.

Notes

  • Used for Hefty Fire Pots, Hefty Magic Pots and several other large throwing pots. Check the recipe before spending a large stack.
  • Redflesh Mushroom and the ordinary Mushroom are separate ingredients.
  • The Mushroom-Seller's first bell bearing unlocks unlimited purchases at the Twin Maiden Husks. It is in a hanging pot on the cliffs near Rivermouth Cave.
  • A roadside gathering loop avoids paying for each mushroom and does not require fighting the enemies in Prospect Town.
  • For Red Lightning Pot, use one per finished item.
  • For Hefty Furnace Pot, use two per finished item.
  • For Hefty Fire Pot, Hefty Magic Pot, Hefty Lightning Pot, Hefty Volcano Pot, and Hefty Red Lightning Pot, use three per finished item.
  • The unlocked shop sells these for 1,500 runes each. The three mushrooms in many hefty elemental pots therefore cost 4,500 runes before the remaining ingredients.
