This painter is said to have captured the landscapes seen during the last moments of those welcomed into death's embrace.

The soul of the painter, and vestiges of the dead's last moments can be discovered by visiting the location depicted even now.

Starting Site of Grace: Sellia Under-Stair

1. Follow Caelid's southern highway northeast toward Sellia Gateway and enter Sellia from its southern stairs. Activate Sellia Under-Stair before searching the town.
2. Climb the stairs into the main street and check the ruined alcove on the eastern side, beneath the broken stone arch. Examine the Redmane easel inside.
3. Invisible sorcerers patrol the town, so clear enough space to interact. The three roof braziers and the town's sealed boss chamber are unnecessary for the painting.

Notes

• Solving Redmane rewards the transferable Rain of Arrows Ash of War. The difficult part is reaching the lower cliff ledge, rather than fighting the nearby golem.
• Examine the original easel first. Merely seeing it in the room or visiting the solution area beforehand does not activate its reward.
• Find the painter's viewpoint, rather than trying to stand at the distant landmark shown in the picture. Approach the seated spirit, wait for it to fade and collect the glowing item left behind.
• Reach Dragonbarrow Fork in northern Caelid and travel east toward the Minor Erdtree northeast of Fort Faroth. Approach the cliff south and southeast of the tree and look down for the enormous branches against the rock.
• Line up with the highest part of the broad branch closest below the cliff. Drop onto that branch first; a direct leap to the distant lower plateau is fatal.
• Follow the branch toward the broken stone column below and drop to its top. Move to the column's far edge and drop onto the lower stone ledge rather than jumping across the whole gap.
• Use Torrent where the next broken column needs extra reach, then descend to the large branch below it. Work along the left branch toward the broken giant jar and the final ground landing.
• Stay away from the resting golem on the plateau's right. Walk toward the projecting edge across from the broken jar, overlooking Redmane Castle, and approach the painter.
• Collect Rain of Arrows after the spirit fades. The golem is optional, and Radahn's Festival, Radahn's defeat and Sellia's brazier puzzle are unnecessary for this painting reward.
