Raya Lucaria Grand Library

Raya Lucaria Academy · Grand Library

When available: After defeating both phases of her boss fight.

Starting Site of Grace: Raya Lucaria Grand Library

  1. Obtain the Academy Glintstone Key from the corpse behind Smarag west of the academy, then use it to pass the sealed academy gate.
  2. Progress through Raya Lucaria and defeat Red Wolf of Radagon to reach Debate Parlor.
  3. In the courtyard beyond, cross onto the curved staircase on the right. Climb while avoiding the rolling ball, pass Moongrum and take the lift to the library.
  4. Defeat both phases of Rennala to receive the remembrance. The second phase takes place in a separate-looking arena but must be completed in the same encounter.
  5. After victory, activate the library grace and speak to Rennala beside the amber egg.

Quest steps

Quest steps can include different outcomes. Read the branch, conditions and cutoffs before making a choice.

  1. Unlock rebirth

    Branch: Main quest

Defeat Rennala to receive the Great Rune of the Unborn. Speak to her in the library after the battle.

  2. Reallocate attributes

    Branch: Main quest

Choose Rebirth with a Larval Tear available. Redistribute your earned levels while respecting your starting class’s minimum attributes, then confirm only when satisfied.

  3. Change your appearance

    Branch: Main quest

Use Cosmetics to change appearance without reallocating levels. This does not spend a Larval Tear.

  4. Open the locked chest later

    Branch: Ranni’s quest connection

Continue Ranni’s quest until the Baleful Shadow reward gives you the Discarded Palace Key. Return to the chest beside Rennala for the Dark Moon Ring.

Notes

  • Rebirth keeps your current level and starting class. It redistributes the levels you earned, not the starting class’s original points.
  • Your character’s rebirth and Boc’s attempted rebirth have different outcomes. Do not give Boc a tear expecting the same safe result.
  • The locked chest requires the Discarded Palace Key from Ranni’s quest. A Stonesword Key or Academy Glintstone Key does not open it.
  • Rennala stays available as a service NPC after the boss. Her Remembrance rewards are exchanged with Enia at Roundtable Hold.
  • The Great Rune of the Unborn does not use the ordinary Great Rune restoration process. The Divine Tower of Liurnia serves another quest purpose.
