Roderika

Roderika begins at Stormhill Shack and later learns Spirit Tuning from Hewg. Help the two speak to one another to unlock Spirit Ash upgrades at Roundtable Hold.

Starting Site of Grace: Stormhill Shack

  1. From Gatefront, follow the road uphill through Stormgate. Continue to the shack on the right beside the road before the route climbs toward Stormveil.
  2. Speak to Roderika sitting inside Stormhill Shack and keep talking until she gives you the Spirit Jellyfish Ashes.

Fireplace and later the room opposite Hewg

When available: After her move from the shack.

Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace

  1. Travel to Roundtable Hold and look for Roderika by the fireplace in the main room.
  2. After arranging her apprenticeship with Hewg, rest or reload the Hold. Find her sitting opposite his anvil to use Spirit Tuning.

Quest steps

Quest steps can include different outcomes. Read the branch, conditions and cutoffs before making a choice.

  1. Take her early gift

    Branch: Main quest

    Talk at Stormhill Shack until she gives you Spirit Jellyfish Ashes. Finish her remaining conversation about her companions.

  2. Bring the memento

    Branch: Early Stormveil route

    In Stormveil, collect Chrysalids’ Memento from the body pile beside the Grafted Scion’s hall. Return it while she is still at the shack, then speak after her move for a Golden Seed.

    Progression cutoff: The body-pile pickup changes after she becomes a spirit tuner.

  3. If she has already moved

    Branch: Alternate arrival

    Resting in Liurnia can move her before you deliver the memento. Continue at Roundtable Hold instead; the early delivery is not required to unlock Spirit Tuning. Check her old shack for the Golden Seed.

  4. Arrange the apprenticeship

    Branch: Main quest

    Ask Hewg about Roderika, tell her what he said, then ask him to watch over her and explain that she wants to learn. Rest and finish their new conversations until she offers Spirit Tuning.

  5. Collect the hood

    Branch: Main quest

    Once Spirit Tuning is unlocked, return to the dogs and body pile in Stormveil. Crimson Hood now occupies the earlier memento pickup.

  6. Return after an upgrade

    Branch: Apprenticeship reward

    After taking a Spirit Ash to +4 or higher, leave the tuning menu and choose Talk for Curtsy. Collect it before advancing the Forge of the Giants event.

Notes

  • Grave Glovewort upgrades ordinary Spirit Ashes; Ghost Glovewort upgrades renowned ashes. The final upgrade uses the appropriate Great Glovewort.
  • The Chrysalids’ Memento delivery adds her early dialogue and reward route, but missing it does not permanently block Spirit Tuning.
  • Killing the wild jellyfish near Stormhill does not give you her Spirit Jellyfish Ashes.
  • She stays with Hewg as the Hold burns. Continue checking their dialogue, and use her service without treating the fire as a command to kill or abandon either character.
  • Spirit Tuning strengthens the ash itself. It does not remove that summon’s FP or HP cost or let you summon outside permitted areas.
