About this item

Conjoined split medallion depicting the Flame Peak.

Brandishing the medallion activates the Grand Lift of Rold, connecting Leyndell to the Mountaintops of the Giants.

The forge of the flame of ruin is said to be found upon their peaks, and it is here Melina wishes to travel in resuming your journey together.

Melina at Elden Throne after Morgott

Leyndell, Royal Capital

Starting Site of Grace: Elden Throne

1. Defeat Morgott at the top of Leyndell and activate Elden Throne grace. Walk up to the Erdtree's thorns and examine the blocked entrance.
2. Return to the grace and rest. Speak to Melina to receive the Rold Medallion; it is a conversation reward rather than a corpse drop in the arena.

Notes

• Activates the normal destination of the Grand Lift of Rold, taking you from the Forbidden Lands to the Mountaintops of the Giants.
• Melina gives the complete medallion after Morgott and the blocked Erdtree entrance. It is not split between two forts like the Dectus Medallion.
• Use the Hoist medallion interaction at the lift. You do not equip it as a tool, spend a Rune Arc or consume the medallion when riding.
• The Haligtree Secret Medallion halves use a different action at the same lift. Owning Rold Medallion alone does not open Consecrated Snowfield.
• The Black Blade Kindred outside the lift is optional. You can run past it and use the medallion without defeating that field boss.
