Starting Site of Grace: Stormveil Cliffside

1. After defeating Margit, activate Stormveil Main Gate and speak to Gostoc in the room to the left. Take his suggested side passage along the cliff.
2. Follow the ruined wall and rocks to Stormveil Cliffside grace. Climb the stone steps into the storage building above it.
3. Go up the wooden stairs, watching for enemies throwing fire pots at the explosive barrels. Let a throw clear the barrels from a safe distance before climbing farther.
4. Continue up the next stairs to the dark room on the right. The door can lock behind you, leaving you with a Banished Knight.
5. Defeat or evade the Banished Knight and collect Rusty Key from the corpse inside. Open the separate chest for Curved Sword Talisman if you want both pickups.
6. Return to the locked door beside the lower staircase and use the key. Climb the ladder beyond it to continue the upper castle route; the key is not used on the knight-room chest.

Notes

• Opens the locked door beside the lower staircase on Stormveil's cliffside route. The ladder behind that door lets you continue upward through the castle.
• The corpse holds the key; Curved Sword Talisman is in the separate chest in the same room. Opening the chest does not automatically collect the key.
• Gostoc can shut the dark-room door behind you if his trap is active. Defeating the knight or returning after a failed attempt lets you finish the route; killing Gostoc is unnecessary.
• It is a local castle key, not a replacement for Stonesword Keys or the main gate mechanism. It does not need equipping or FP: interact with the matching locked door.
• Godrick does not have to be defeated to obtain or use it. Taking another way through Stormveil does not make it a required boss reward.
