About this item

Give it to Rya at the southern Liurnia gazebo to receive Volcano Manor Invitation. It is a quest item, not an equippable talisman, and has no combat bonus.

Buying it costs 1,000 runes and opens Boggart's Boiled Prawn shop. Buy a prawn to progress his move to the capital outskirts; merely recovering the necklace does not complete that separate step.

Killing Boggart also gives the necklace, but ends his quest and removes his later direct crab shop. The nonviolent purchase preserves both characters' early quests.

In-game description

Necklace stolen from Rya by the blackguard.

Features a relief of a dignified looking woman from a foreign country.

It appears to hold great significance for Rya.

Where to find

Boggart at Boilprawn Shack

Liurnia of the Lakes

Starting Site of Grace: Boilprawn Shack

Before you go

  • Speak to Rya before she leaves for Volcano Manor.
  1. At Scenic Isle in southern Liurnia, head east toward the stone gazebo near the telescope. Speak to Rya about her stolen necklace before entering Volcano Manor, which ends this early meeting.
  2. Ride northwest across the shallow lake to Boilprawn Shack. Talk to Boggart beside the cooking pot, ask for the necklace and choose Deal to open the purchase.
  3. Buy Rya's Necklace for 1,000 runes. Buying it keeps Boggart alive and opens his prawn shop; purchase at least one Boiled Prawn if you want his later move and crab stock.
  4. Return to Rya in the gazebo and give her the necklace. Finish her dialogue to receive Volcano Manor Invitation.

  • Meet Rya before entering Volcano Manor. Once she has left her Liurnia position, you cannot complete this early handover there.
  • Returning the necklace supplies the invitation, rather than teleporting you immediately. Reach Altus Plateau and speak to Rya again for her offered trip.
