Writheblood Ruins
Starting Site of Grace: Bridge of Iniquity
Before you go
Reach Altus Plateau.
From Bridge of Iniquity, cross the hanging bridge east back into Altus Plateau. Continue toward the ruined buildings of Writheblood Ruins on the opposite side.
Find the stairs leading down into the ruins' cellar and enter the fog gate. Defeat the Sanguine Noble inside.
After the fight, go into the room behind the arena and open the chest to collect Bloody Helice. The boss guards the chest; the sword is not his direct drop.

Notes
Bloody Helice is in the chest beyond the arena. Open it after the fight rather than expecting the sword as a direct drop.
Blocking can still leave blood-loss buildup. Back away and let the bar fall when it is close to full.
Avoid the blood pools he leaves on the floor. Do not stand in one while choosing a spell or using a flask.
When he raises the dagger into a parry stance, stop feeding him ordinary melee swings. Wait for him to leave the stance or use an appropriate attack that cannot be parried.
The dagger throws give him ranged pressure. Moving away from his sword is useful, but does not make a stationary heal safe.
This boss is separate from the Sanguine Noble invader in the Consecrated Snowfield.
