About this item
A note explaining the three tower flames that remove Sellia's blue seals. It does not itself remove a barrier when you receive or read it.
Climb the roots, roofs and tower ladders and interact with the flame at each tower. You do not need a fire weapon, a torch or a Stonesword Key to light them.
The seals protect several different rewards and the upper road to Church of the Plague. Clearing them does not automatically give you the chest contents or defeat the Nox duo.

Gowry in the shack south of Sellia
Caelid
Starting Site of Grace: Gowry's Shack
- From Southern Aeonia Swamp Bank, follow the road north through Sellia Gateway. Watch for the giant throwing rocks above the gateway. Gowry's wooden shack is off the road on the right, before the town.
- Speak to Gowry and agree to help Millicent. Keep the large dog away from the shack so its attacks do not interrupt the conversation.
- Go west into the Swamp of Aeonia toward the clearing enclosed by large pale branches. Activate Inner Aeonia nearby and defeat Commander O'Neil in the Heart of Aeonia for the broken Unalloyed Gold Needle.
- Return the needle to Gowry and finish his dialogue. He gives Sellia's Secret and needs time to repair the needle. Rest or reload, then speak to him again for the repaired version.
Notes
- A note explaining the three tower flames that remove Sellia's blue seals. It does not itself remove a barrier when you receive or read it.
- Climb the roots, roofs and tower ladders and interact with the flame at each tower. You do not need a fire weapon, a torch or a Stonesword Key to light them.
- The seals protect several different rewards and the upper road to Church of the Plague. Clearing them does not automatically give you the chest contents or defeat the Nox duo.
- You can solve the tower puzzle before meeting Gowry. The note is a hint rather than a requirement to make the flames work.
- Gowry gives it when you bring him the broken Unalloyed Gold Needle. He still needs time to repair that separate quest item; rest or reload, then speak to him again.
- Millicent needs the repaired needle, rather than the note. Carry it to Church of the Plague to continue her early quest.
