Demi-Human Chiefs in Coastal Cave

Limgrave

Starting Site of Grace: Coastal Cave

1. From Church of Elleh, head southwest toward the western coast and use the sloping route beside the collapsed stonework to reach the beach. Do not jump straight off the high cliff.
2. Look for Coastal Cave in the cliff face, southwest of the church and south of Stormfoot Catacombs. Enter and activate the grace on the left.
3. Use a torch or lantern for the dark passage. Beyond the first Demi-Human, descend toward the larger chamber; the left-hand passage also leads around to its entrance.
4. Defeat both Demi-Human Chiefs and the smaller Demi-Humans supporting them. Avoid running all the way across the room while the first chief is still pressuring you.
5. Receive Tailoring Tools and Sewing Needle together after the fight. The tunnel beyond leads to Church of Dragon Communion, but you do not need to follow it for these rewards.
6. If Boc is waiting near the cave entrance, return to him and offer the needle through his dialogue. Collecting the boss reward itself does not require his presence.

Notes

• Return this ordinary needle to Boc at the entrance of Coastal Cave to continue his quest and gain his free tailoring service as he travels.
• If you have not met Boc, listen for his call southeast of Agheel Lake North. Strike or roll into the small disguised tree to reveal him, then speak to him. Avoid continuing to attack once he appears.
• After the cave bosses are defeated, return to Boc by the cave grace and choose the dialogue that offers his needle. You do not give him the player's Tailoring Tools as a separate gift.
• The needle is not spent every time he alters a garment. Once his service is available, the alterations themselves are free, although the piece still needs a supported altered version.
• Gold Sewing Needle is the different Church of Vows item used to expand his service to compatible special garments. This ordinary needle does not do that on its own.
• Keep Boc alive if you want his service. His later wish to be reborn is a separate quest choice; giving him a Larval Tear sends him toward an outcome that ends his tailoring service.
