These flowers, veiled in shadow and covered in impenetrable thorns, are suffused with profound holiness—much akin to the Scadutree itself.

Starting Site of Grace: Church of the Crusade

Before you go

• Keep Moore and the forager alive and friendly.
• Bring a Warming Stone or Sunwarmth Stone.
• Collect the reward before choosing dialogue that makes Moore leave Main Gate Cross.

1. Reach Scadu Altus through Castle Ensis after defeating Rellana and activate Highroad Cross. Ride northwest uphill toward Church of the Crusade, west of the main road to Shadow Keep.
2. If Fire Knight Queelign invades near the church, finish the invasion before trying to rest or travel. Go around the church's northern side toward the cliff and small pools.
3. Find the curled-up, shivering forager. Place a Warming Stone or Sunwarmth Stone beside it and wait for the healing to work. This friendly pest does not need to be attacked.
4. Rest or travel away and return. Once it is standing and digging, speak to it for Forager Brood Cookbook (4) and three Shadow Sunflowers.
5. Collect the reward while Moore and the forager remain friendly and before choosing dialogue that makes Moore leave Main Gate Cross. Repeating the conversation does not give another bundle.

Starting Site of Grace: Moorth Ruins

1. From Highroad Cross in Scadu Altus, follow the road east to Moorth Ruins and activate the grace beside the cross.
2. Pass through the large stone arch east-southeast of the grace. At the house ahead, turn left toward the leaning tower. Avoid the large open shaft behind the house, which is too deep for a direct drop.
3. Find the smaller gap between the broken building and the rock wall in front of the leaning tower. Drop onto the balcony-like ledge, turn right past the dogs and follow the cave inward.
4. In the open chamber at the end, take the back-left ledges down onto the lower roof. Look for the small shrine guarded by three Inquisitors and collect Golden Arcs from the chest inside.
5. From the shrine's roof level, use the balcony below to descend to the ground. Clear the shadow enemy and loot the corpse beside the nearby stairs for four Shadow Sunflowers.
6. The tunnel beyond continues to the Bonny Village ladder. This bundle is before the ladder and does not require visiting Ymir or ringing any finger-ruins bell.

Notes

• One flower is used per Holyproof Pickled Liver, Golden Grease or Drawstring Golden Grease. The Golden Vow consumable uses two.
• The four recipes need their own cookbooks and other ingredients. Carrying a flower does not provide Holy protection or add Holy damage by itself.
• The injured friendly forager north of Church of the Crusade gives three flowers after being healed and reloaded. This is a one-time reward, not an unlimited merchant supply.
• Keep the forager and Moore friendly, and collect the reward before choosing dialogue that makes Moore leave. Warming Stone or Sunwarmth Stone heals the curled-up forager; attacking it is unnecessary.
• The four-flower corpse bundle below Moorth Ruins' shrine provides another checked pickup. That body does not refill after resting.
• Flowers also grow near the Scadutree in Scadu Altus and Scaduview. The crafting material is separate from Remembrance of the Shadow Sunflower and its colossal weapon reward.
• The craftable Golden Vow is consumed when used. It is separate from the incantation and transferable Ash of War with the same name.
