Smithing-Stone Miner's Bell Bearing [3]

Type

Bell bearing

About this bell bearing

The bell bearing of a miner who once dug for smithing stone.

Offer to the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold to gain access to the following items:

- Smithing Stone [5]

- Smithing Stone [6]

Zamor Ruins

Mountaintops of the Giants

Starting Site of Grace: Zamor Ruins

Before you go

• Reach the Mountaintops through the Grand Lift of Rold.

1. Defeat Morgott and receive the Rold Medallion, then cross the Forbidden Lands and use the Grand Lift of Rold's normal medallion action.
2. Follow the path from the lift to Zamor Ruins. Move south into the ruined buildings, watching for the Knights of Zamor and their freezing attacks.
3. Find the stairwell descending beneath the ruins and open its underground chest for Smithing-Stone Miner's Bell Bearing [3]. You can avoid fighting the roaming knights if you reach the cellar safely.
4. Take the bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold and choose the option to offer a bell bearing. Check their main shop afterward for the newly available items.

Notes

• Unlocks unlimited purchases of Smithing Stone [5] and Smithing Stone [6].
• The bearing opens the shop; it does not give you free stones. Each purchase still costs runes.
• This upgrade-material shop unlock carries into later journeys once the bearing has been handed in.
• You can obtain the numbered bearings in any order. The number identifies their inventory, so an earlier bearing is not required to use this one.
• Smithing Stone [5] costs 1,200 runes; Smithing Stone [6] costs 1,500 runes. These are prices for one item, separate from any reinforcement fee.
• A normal weapon uses twelve stones of each rank across its three matching upgrades: two, then four, then six. The shop is unlimited, but each upgrade still needs its own materials and reinforcement fee.
