Smithing-Stone Miner's Bell Bearing [4]

Type

Bell bearing

About this bell bearing

The bell bearing of a miner who once dug for smithing stone.

Offer to the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold to gain access to the following items:

- Smithing Stone [7]

- Smithing Stone [8]

- Ruin Fragment

Godskin Duo

Crumbling Farum Azula

Starting Site of Grace: Dragon Temple

Before you go

• Defeat the Godskin Duo.

1. Defeat the Fire Giant and advance at the giant fire basin to reach Crumbling Farum Azula.
2. Follow the floating ruins to Dragon Temple, then descend through the corridors guarded by Banished Knights to the Godskin Duo encounter.
3. Empty the shared boss health bar. A defeated member can return while that bar remains, so defeating one alone is not enough.
4. Take the bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold and choose the option to offer a bell bearing. Check their main shop afterward for the newly available items.

Notes

• Unlocks unlimited purchases of Smithing Stone [7], Smithing Stone [8] and Ruin Fragment.
• The bearing opens the shop; it does not give you free stones. Each purchase still costs runes.
• This upgrade-material shop unlock carries into later journeys once the bearing has been handed in.
• You can obtain the numbered bearings in any order. The number identifies their inventory, so an earlier bearing is not required to use this one.
• This bearing does not unlock Ancient Dragon Smithing Stones. The final upgrade material remains a separate pickup.
• Smithing Stone [7] costs 2,400 runes; Smithing Stone [8] costs 3,600 runes. These are prices for one item, separate from any reinforcement fee.
• A normal weapon uses twelve stones of each rank across its three matching upgrades: two, then four, then six. The shop is unlimited, but each upgrade still needs its own materials and reinforcement fee.
