Road's End Catacombs

Starting Site of Grace: Road's End Catacombs

  1. Reach the western Liurnia road near the Minor Erdtree south of the Revenger's Shack. Follow the lower cliff path around the tree's hill to the catacomb doors. The entrance is below the tree, not beside its trunk.
  2. Inside, descend past the first imps to the room with the lever. Pull it, then go down the stairs and turn back toward the wall beside the staircase.
  3. Strike that wall to reveal a hidden room with a Rune Arc corpse and glovewort. Take the narrow side passage and go down to the corpse holding Root Resin.
  4. Hit the wall behind that corpse. Follow the next stairs and strike the false dead end at the bottom to reach the door you opened with the lever.
  5. Enter the boss room and find the Spirit-Caller Snail by its faint white glow. Attack the snail, then find its new position whenever it teleports. Killing the summoned knight alone will not finish the fight.
  6. Defeat the snail to receive the ashes. The Raya Lucaria Soldier Ashes are a separate chest reward in this dungeon.

Notes

  • The reward is Glintstone Sorcerer Ashes. Raya Lucaria Soldier Ashes are in a separate chest elsewhere in the catacombs.
  • Look for the snail’s faint glow near the walls and pillars. Hit that position to reveal and damage the actual boss.
  • Find the glow again after it teleports. Defeating only the summoned knight does not finish the encounter.
  • Keep watching the knight’s spear while searching. Running around the perimeter without looking back can lead straight into a thrust.
  • The route passes several illusory dead ends below the lever room. Pulling the lever alone does not reveal those walls.
  • Unlike the Spiritcaller Cave encounter, you can target the hidden snail while its guardian is still active.
