About this crafting material
One Spiritgrave Stone and two Grave Crickets make one Polter Stone. Grave Keeper's Cookbook (2) unlocks this noise-making distraction.
Sunwarmth Stone uses one Spiritgrave Stone, one Black Pyrefly and one Blessed Bone Shard. Its stronger healing recipe comes from Battlefield Priest's Cookbook (4).
Surging Frenzied Flame instead needs one Spiritgrave Stone and one Swollen Grape, unlocked by Mad Craftsman's Cookbook (3). It is an offensive placed item rather than a healing stone.

In-game description
A piece of a gravestone that has started to turn into a spirit. Material used for crafting items.
Mainly found on the Gravesite Plain.
In places to where the dead have been brought since antiquity, the oldest gravestones turn into spirits and then fade away.
Where to find
Graves near the entrance to the Realm of Shadow
Gravesite Plain
Starting Site of Grace: Gravesite Plain
Before you go
- Enter the Realm of Shadow.
- Defeat Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, then touch the withered arm in Mohg's arena to enter the Realm of Shadow.
- Leave the opening tunnel into the Realm of Shadow and activate Gravesite Plain grace.
- Search among the pale, partly transparent gravestones around this starting area. Look for the material pickups on the ground beside the graves.
- Gather the stones and check the pickup name. You do not need to defeat the furnace giant farther north to collect them.
Demi-Humans along the ravine and northern beach
Cerulean Coast
Starting Site of Grace: Cerulean Coast West
- From Castle Front, ride south to the crossroads, turn east and follow the road to the next fork. Take the right-hand dirt track, then the left fork downhill toward the southeast.
- Pass the bloodfiends and descend into the shallow poison area. Follow the lower path down toward the river rather than climbing toward the fort; watch for militia and poison traps along the descent.
- At the bottom is a shallow pool with a giant crab. Turn southwest into the opening in the cliff, continue through the cave past the Revered Spirit Ash chamber and activate Ellac River Cave grace.
- Leave by the southern cave exit and turn south along the river. Use Torrent to cross the successive rock ledges beside the waterfall, landing on the nearby rocks rather than jumping to the valley floor.
- Continue down the ledge path past the stone birds, watching for the living ones to attack. Drop down the short rock steps to Ellac River Downstream grace.
- From Downstream, continue south beside the lower falls. Cross the long rock pillar toward the east and use its far side to reach the lower water safely.
- The lower basin opens toward a Furnace Golem. Its fight is optional for reaching the coast, the friendly forager or the lightning-flower pond.
- Head through the eastern wooded side of the basin, then follow the passage southwest through the cliffs to Cerulean Coast grace. The blue-flowered field beyond confirms you have reached the coast.
- From Cerulean Coast grace, head southwest past the enormous stone coffins, then continue west beside the shallow water to the great dead tree. Head northwest from that tree to Cerulean Coast West grace.
- Go east around the huge coffin beside the grace, then turn left into the northeastern ravine. Keep left at its branch toward the secluded beach with Demi-Human Queen Marigga.
- Defeat the ordinary Demi-Humans along this approach and collect their glowing drops. These enemies have a 4% base Spiritgrave Stone chance at 100 Discovery.
- Return to the grace and rest to repeat. The queen's sword reward is separate; defeating her is unnecessary for the smaller enemies' material drops.
Notes
- One Spiritgrave Stone and two Grave Crickets make one Polter Stone. Grave Keeper's Cookbook (2) unlocks this noise-making distraction.
- Sunwarmth Stone uses one Spiritgrave Stone, one Black Pyrefly and one Blessed Bone Shard. Its stronger healing recipe comes from Battlefield Priest's Cookbook (4).
- Surging Frenzied Flame instead needs one Spiritgrave Stone and one Swollen Grape, unlocked by Mad Craftsman's Cookbook (3). It is an offensive placed item rather than a healing stone.
- The stones beside the opening spiritgraves are gathering pickups. Fixed bundles on corpses elsewhere are separate and do not refill after resting.
- Eligible Demi-Humans on the Cerulean Coast provide repeatable drops with a 4% base chance at 100 Discovery. Resting resets these enemies without needing Queen Marigga to be defeated.
- Spiritgrave Stone and Spirit Calculus are different materials with different recipes. A similarly named stone does not fill the missing ingredient slot.
- None of these crafts uses a reusable throwing-pot container. The finished item and its ingredients are consumed, while the healing or attack follows the item's own FP cost.
