"It would seem that the people of the keep have flooded the holy quarter that leads onward to the Scadutree, barring access.

However, there is no route that leads there from this storehouse.

Perhaps there is another way to reach the holy quarter, from somewhere else in this keep..."

Shadow Keep

Starting Site of Grace: Storehouse, Fourth Floor

1. Enter the Realm of Shadow after defeating Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, by touching the withered arm in Mohg's arena.
2. From Highroad Cross in Scadu Altus, follow the main road north to Shadow Keep's southern gate. Ride the entrance lift and activate Shadow Keep Main Gate grace.
3. Defeat Golden Hippopotamus in the plaza. This is the front-door route; the flooded Church District provides a different way into the keep.
4. From Main Gate Plaza, leave through the west-northwest doorway, pass through the armory and climb the stairs. Continue up the wooden steps to the dining hall, where two Black Knights guard the route.
5. Leave the dining hall through its southeastern exit to the upper rampart. Follow the rampart past the burning boats and watch for the small Shadow Militiamen hiding beside them.
6. Take the stairs leading north-northeast toward the large lift, passing the Fire Knight in front of it. Ride up and activate Storehouse, First Floor grace.
7. Return upstairs and follow the shelf-lined walkways up the next two levels. Watch for Shadow Militiamen beside the stairs and the Fire Knight on the third-floor walkway.
8. Continue southwest past that Fire Knight to the walkway corner where more militiamen approach. Find the large feet of the suspended specimen, climb onto it and follow its body upward.
9. Jump from the specimen's horns onto the balcony with the cross and activate Storehouse, Fourth Floor grace. The ordinary stair route does not directly replace this climb.
10. Check the table beside the fourth-floor cross and collect Storehouse Cross Message before continuing outside.

Notes

• Ansbach's note concerns the flooded Church District and the route onward toward the Scadutree. It does not drain the water or open a passage from the fourth-floor cross.
• The ordinary Storehouse route and the Church District approach are different branches. For the district, descend through Moorth Ruins to Bonny Village, cross its eastern bridges and follow the road north toward the eastern entrance.
• You do not need this note in your inventory to use that eastern approach. It provides a clue, rather than a key or quest item you hand to Ansbach.
• Secret Rite Scroll is another item on a lower side balcony beyond this floor. Do not confuse the message beside the cross with that separate scroll and its quest handover.
