Starting Site of Grace: Coastal Cave

1. From the Church of Elleh, take the path down to the western beach and find Coastal Cave in the cliff wall.
2. Activate the entrance grace and enter the first dark chambers. Bring a torch or lantern so you can see the demi-humans before they surround you.
3. Defeat the demi-humans and collect their drops. Rest at the grace to reset this short loop; the chiefs' boss room is not required.

Starting Site of Grace: Cliffroad Terminus

Before you go

• Enter the Realm of Shadow.
• Bring a ranged attack to break the hanging pot.

1. From Main Gate Cross outside Belurat, take the southeastern path around the cliff to Cliffroad Terminus.
2. Go southwest around Prospect Town's rocky hill and enter the small ravine on its western side. Look for the lone Bloodfiend below the cliff.
3. Look up at the wall for the pot hanging from a rope. Shoot it, then collect the bearing from the ground below.
4. Offer the bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold.
5. Buy String for 1,200 runes each from the unlocked main shop.

Notes

• Used for drawstring greases, roped pots and Dragon Communion Harpoons.
• Demi-humans can drop String. It is not guaranteed on each kill.
• Roped pots are thrown behind you, while ordinary pots are thrown forward. Check which version you are crafting.
• The bell bearing removes the need to keep farming demi-humans if you would rather buy String. Breaking the pot alone is not enough; pick up the bearing and hand it in.
• For Roped Fire Pot, Roped Lightning Pot, Roped Fetid Pot, Roped Poison Pot, Roped Oil Pot, Roped Magic Pot, and Roped Fly Pot, use one per finished item.
• For Roped Volcano Pot, Roped Holy Water Pot, Drawstring Fire Grease, Drawstring Lightning Grease, Drawstring Magic Grease, Drawstring Holy Grease, and Drawstring Blood Grease, use one per finished item.
• For Drawstring Soporific Grease, Drawstring Poison Grease, Drawstring Rot Grease, Roped Frenzied Flame Pot, Drawstring Messmerfire Grease, Drawstring Dragonbolt Grease, and Drawstring Royal Magic Grease, use one per finished item.
• For Drawstring Golden Grease and Drawstring Eternal Sleep Grease, use one per finished item.
• For Dragon Communion Harpoon, use two per finished item.
• The unlocked shop sells String for 1,200 runes each. A Dragon Communion Harpoon uses two, costing 2,400 runes for its String alone; a roped pot or drawstring grease uses one.
