Locations and access

Tanith’s reception chamber

Mt. Gelmir · Manor bodyguard

Starting Site of Grace: Volcano Manor

  1. Enter the manor’s main chamber and look beside Tanith for the armored Crucible Knight. This early meeting is not the reward encounter.

Rykard’s arena

Mt. Gelmir · Retaliation

Starting Site of Grace: Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy

  1. Finish any Volcano Manor assassination rewards you want before defeating Rykard. His death ends the unfinished contracts. Completing every contract is not a requirement for Tanith's outfit, but killing him early can lose their separate rewards.
  2. Defeat Rykard through both phases, activate his arena grace and return to Tanith at Volcano Manor. Finish her dialogue, rest or reload, then travel back to Rykard's arena.
  3. Find Tanith eating beside Rykard's remains. Kill her only when you are ready to end her remaining dialogue for this journey. Her Crucible Knight then invades to defend her.
  4. Defeat Tanith's Knight for Aspects of the Crucible: Breath. Return to Tanith's body and collect Consort's Mask, Consort's Robe and Consort's Trousers; rest and return if the loot has not appeared yet.

Notes

  • This fight ends Tanith’s remaining conversations. Finish the manor’s other business first.
  • The knight uses familiar sword-and-shield Crucible attacks and can add fiery breath.
  • This opponent does not drop Ordovis’s Greatsword or the Crucible Axe Set. Those belong to another Crucible encounter.
  • Defeating every manor contract is not required to trigger this final fight.
  • The knight’s initial position beside Tanith should not be described as a separate early armor farm.
