Thops beside Schoolhouse Classroom

Liurnia of the Lakes

Starting Site of Grace: Schoolhouse Classroom

Before you go

• Enter Raya Lucaria and collect its spare Academy Glintstone Key.

1. Meet Thops at the Church of Irith just below Lake-Facing Cliffs in southern Liurnia and hear his request for an Academy Glintstone Key.
2. Enter Raya Lucaria with your own key. From Debate Parlor, go into the courtyard, climb the broken slope on the left and follow the stairs to the railing leading onto the rooftops.
3. Follow the roofs, climb the long ladder and work around the bell tower until you can enter the Church of the Cuckoo through an upper window.
4. Move carefully along the rafters and drop onto the chandelier holding the spare Academy Glintstone Key. Look down before dropping so you do not fall to the church floor.
5. Return to Thops, give him this spare key and finish his dialogue. Reload the area.
6. Travel to Schoolhouse Classroom. Step outside toward the waterwheel and find him at the desk beside the building. Loot his body for the bearing and his other items.
7. Offer the bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold.

Notes

• Transfers his basic sorceries: Glintstone Pebble, Glintstone Arc and Starlight.
• Thops will not take the first key you need for your own academy entrance. Bring the spare key from the chandelier.
• Finishing his request also provides his later quest rewards. Killing him at the Church of Irith for the bearing cuts that sequence short.
• The bearing transfers his shop; Thops's Barrier is a separate pickup from completing the key request.
• Glintstone Pebble, Glintstone Arc and Starlight are his purchasable spells. The Thops's Barrier sorcery found with his remains and the later scarab Ash at the church are separate rewards.
