About this crafting material
One Toxic Mushroom and one Poisonbloom make a Poison Pot. Roped Poison Pot uses the same pair plus one String. Each also needs its recipe and a Cracked Pot.
Rot Pot instead needs two Toxic Mushrooms, two Faded Erdleaf Flowers and one Aeonian Butterfly. A steady mushroom supply does not remove the separate butterfly limit.
The two growths behind the southeastern root at Heart of Aeonia return after resting. Fixed corpse bundles elsewhere do not refill in the same way.

Where to find
Mushrooms beside the roots in Aeonia
Caelid
Starting Site of Grace: Heart of Aeonia
Before you go
- Defeat Commander O'Neil to use Heart of Aeonia grace.
- Enter the Swamp of Aeonia from the road west of Sellia in Caelid. Head toward the central clearing enclosed by enormous pale roots and activate nearby Inner Aeonia before entering Commander O'Neil's arena.
- Defeat Commander O'Neil and activate Heart of Aeonia in his clearing. This boss is needed for the convenient grace used by this short gathering circuit.
- Head southeast from Heart of Aeonia and cross the low root. Check behind it for the two Toxic Mushroom growths, collect them and return to rest at the grace.
- Repeat the same two growths after resting. Ride Torrent when crossing the rot water rather than wading through it on foot.
Hanging pot at the Ellac River waterfall
Gravesite Plain
Starting Site of Grace: Ellac River Downstream
Before you go
- Enter the Realm of Shadow.
- Bring a ranged attack for the hanging pot.
- From Castle Front, ride south to the crossroads, turn east and follow the road to the next fork. Take the right-hand dirt track, then the left fork downhill toward the southeast.
- Pass the bloodfiends and descend into the shallow poison area. Follow the lower path down toward the river rather than climbing toward the fort; watch for militia and poison traps along the descent.
- At the bottom is a shallow pool with a giant crab. Turn southwest into the opening in the cliff, continue through the cave past the Revered Spirit Ash chamber and activate Ellac River Cave grace.
- Leave by the southern cave exit and turn south along the river. Use Torrent to cross the successive rock ledges beside the waterfall, landing on the nearby rocks rather than jumping to the valley floor.
- Continue down the ledge path past the stone birds, watching for the living ones to attack. Drop down the short rock steps to Ellac River Downstream grace.
- Continue south and southeast toward the next waterfall. Find the pot hanging beside the rock crossing in front of the falls and break it with a ranged attack.
- Use the crossing and successive lower ledges to reach the dropped item at the bottom. Collect Mushroom-Seller's Bell Bearing (2); jumping straight from the upper waterfall is unsafe.
- Offer the bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold. Their unlocked main shop sells Toxic Mushroom for 1,000 runes each with unlimited stock.
Notes
- One Toxic Mushroom and one Poisonbloom make a Poison Pot. Roped Poison Pot uses the same pair plus one String. Each also needs its recipe and a Cracked Pot.
- Rot Pot instead needs two Toxic Mushrooms, two Faded Erdleaf Flowers and one Aeonian Butterfly. A steady mushroom supply does not remove the separate butterfly limit.
- The two growths behind the southeastern root at Heart of Aeonia return after resting. Fixed corpse bundles elsewhere do not refill in the same way.
- Mushroom-Seller's Bell Bearing (2) unlocks unlimited purchases for 1,000 runes each. Two mushrooms for a Rot Pot cost 2,000 runes before its other ingredients.
- Mushroom, Toxic Mushroom and Whiteflesh Mushroom are separate ingredients. Carrying one variety does not substitute for a missing one in a recipe.
- Used throwing pots free their reusable containers again. The mushrooms are spent and must be gathered or bought again for the next craft.
