Ulcerated Tree Spirit (Fringefolk Hero’s Grave)
The boss below the starting graveyard is a large, twisting Tree Spirit in a confined room. Reaching the entrance early does not make the fight a required first stop.

Starting Site of Grace: Stranded Graveyard
Before you go
Two Stonesword Keys.
Return to Stranded Graveyard, the starting cave below The First Step. Spend two Stonesword Keys at the imp seal beside the grace.
Descend and cross the poison pool. Wait at the first chariot slope until you can move behind the machine.
Follow the slope downward in short sections, hiding in the wall alcoves as the chariot returns. Clear the soldiers in an alcove before using it as shelter.
Continue around the bend and across the narrow bridge section. At the later split, take the descending route; the upward dead end leads toward Dragon Communion Seal.
Follow the lower slope to the large boss doors and enter when you have enough healing left.
Defeat the Ulcerated Tree Spirit to receive Oleg. The hidden side rooms, Grafted Scions and chariot-destruction puzzle are optional.

Notes
Defeating it awards Banished Knight Oleg and a Golden Seed. The Dragon Communion Seal is a different pickup on the upper branch of the dungeon.
The entrance requires two Stonesword Keys. Hidden side rooms and the chariot-destruction puzzle are optional for reaching the boss.
Its mouth grab follows a conspicuous approach and is different from an ordinary body collision. Save a dodge for the head coming toward you.
Watch for the body lighting up before the large explosion. Stop attacking and move away from the glowing area.
Staying beside the body can make some attacks easier to see, but its tail still reaches around it. Avoid assuming the flank is safe through every movement.
If the camera presses into the wall or body, briefly unlock it to recover your view. Knowing where the head is matters more than keeping a permanent lock.
