Vargram and Errant Sorcerer Wilhelm

Vargram the Raging Wolf and Errant Sorcerer Wilhelm are the pair you fight alongside Bernahl inside Fortified Manor. Their shared assignment awards Raging Wolf Set.

Locations and access

Ground-floor hall

Leyndell, Royal Capital · Fortified Manor hall

Starting Site of Grace: Fortified Manor, First Floor

  1. From Avenue Balcony, go down the northwest stairs and continue toward the huge petrified dragon. Climb its wing to the upper walkway, then take the passage and stairs to West Capital Rampart grace.
  2. From West Capital Rampart, go southeast down the nearby stairs. Follow the lower corridor past the Oracle Envoys and pull the lever to open the large gate below.
  3. Look west toward Fortified Manor. Drop from the lower walkway to the courtyard and go through the manor's large ground-level doorway. The nearby stable roofs lead to its upper floor, which is a different entrance.
  4. Enter Fortified Manor's ground-floor hall and use the red sign to assist Bernahl against Vargram the Raging Wolf and Errant Sorcerer Wilhelm. This hall resembles the lower room at Roundtable Hold, but the sign is in Leyndell.

Quest steps

Quest steps can include different outcomes. Read the branch, conditions and cutoffs before making a choice.

  1. Receive Bernahl’s letter

    Branch: Main quest

    Keep Bernahl alive and complete Tanith’s second main contract. Speak to him in the manor drawing room and take his letter.

  2. Assist Bernahl

    Branch: Main quest

    Use the red sign in Fortified Manor’s main hall. Fight with Bernahl and defeat both targets.

  3. Report the victory

    Branch: Main quest

    Return to Bernahl at Volcano Manor for Gelmir’s Fury.

    Progression cutoff: Complete this before Rykard and before Maliketh changes the Royal Capital.

Notes

  • This hall resembles Roundtable Hold, but the sign is in the physical Fortified Manor in Leyndell.
  • The main ground-floor doorway is the contract entrance. The stable roofs reach a different upper-floor route.
  • Wilhelm casts while Vargram pressures you in melee. Avoid staying between both opponents.
  • You do not need to finish Juno’s contract before Bernahl offers this letter.
  • The weapons they carry are not automatically included in the outfit reward.
