About this item

Letter given by Rya as thanks for retrieving her necklace.

Seek the Altus Plateau in the realm of the Erdtree.

Prove yourself by making this journey, and the Volcano Manor will fully extend its invitation. To fight, amongst a family of champions."

Rya in the gazebo east of Scenic Isle

Liurnia of the Lakes

Starting Site of Grace: Scenic Isle

1. At Scenic Isle in southern Liurnia, head east toward the stone gazebo near the telescope. Speak to Rya about her stolen necklace before entering Volcano Manor, which ends this early meeting.
2. Ride northwest across the shallow lake to Boilprawn Shack. Talk to Boggart beside the cooking pot, ask for the necklace and choose Deal to open the purchase.
3. Buy Rya's Necklace for 1,000 runes. Buying it keeps Boggart alive and opens his prawn shop; purchase at least one Boiled Prawn if you want his later move and crab stock.
4. Return to Rya in the gazebo and give her the necklace. Finish her dialogue to receive Volcano Manor Invitation.

Notes

• After receiving it, find Rya at Altus Plateau and choose to take her hand. She can bring you straight into Volcano Manor without crossing all of Mt. Gelmir on foot.
• When arriving through the Grand Lift of Dectus, look for her at the top of the lift. If you entered Altus through the Ruin-Strewn Precipice, look in Lux Ruins above Erdtree-Gazing Hill.
• The invitation itself is not a reusable teleport item. Speak to Rya for the trip, then activate Volcano Manor grace so you can return normally.
• It does not force you to join the manor, complete its assassination contracts or change your ending. Joining and receiving the Drawing-Room Key are separate choices made with Tanith.
• You can also reach Volcano Manor by the mountain route without an invitation. This letter is a convenient quest-based approach, rather than a required key to every manor entrance.
