About this item
A quest item received from Fia and handed to D at Roundtable Hold. It cannot be equipped, upgraded or used to attack.
After giving it to D, reload and check the newly opened room beyond Hewg. D's body provides the Twinned outfit and his bell bearing, while Fia's dialogue advances her departure.
The dagger sequence does not require killing D yourself. It is separate from giving his recovered armor to his twin in Siofra Aqueduct.

In-game description
Dagger received from Fia, the Deathbed Companion.
She wishes for it to be returned to its rightful owner.
It was once a special weapon of gold and silver intertwined, but is now worn down and marred by a black gash.
Where to find
Fia during her investigation
Roundtable Hold
Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace
Before you go
- Reach Altus Plateau and return to Fia at Roundtable Hold.
- After reaching Altus Plateau, return to Roundtable Hold. Find Fia in the bedroom beside Hewg's smithing area.
- Accept her embrace and choose her private conversation options. Ask about her request and take Weathered Dagger when she asks you to find its owner.
- Speak to D in the central Roundtable room and give him the dagger. Rest or reload the Hold, then go through the newly opened room at the far end of the passage beyond Hewg.
- Loot D's body for his armor and bell bearing, then speak to Fia. The dagger has served its quest purpose; it was never a weapon to equip.
Notes
- A quest item received from Fia and handed to D at Roundtable Hold. It cannot be equipped, upgraded or used to attack.
- After giving it to D, reload and check the newly opened room beyond Hewg. D's body provides the Twinned outfit and his bell bearing, while Fia's dialogue advances her departure.
- The dagger sequence does not require killing D yourself. It is separate from giving his recovered armor to his twin in Siofra Aqueduct.
- Fia's embrace gives ordinary Baldachin's Blessing, which lowers maximum HP while you carry it. Use that blessing and let the effect end to clear the penalty; the dagger and Twinned armor do not cause it.
- This is an early step toward Fia's later Deeproot story, not the ending rune itself. Her later dream requires Cursemark of Death and its own quest conversations.
