The flesh of the mushroom is similar to raw meat, and can serve as pot innards.

Before you go

• Enter the Realm of Shadow.

1. Leave the opening tunnel into the Realm of Shadow and activate Gravesite Plain grace.
2. Head west to the small stone mausoleum. Search around the trees outside and behind the building for the pale mushrooms.
3. Gather the mushrooms without going down into the mausoleum. The Blackgaol Knight inside is a separate optional fight.

Before you go

• Enter the Realm of Shadow.
• Bring a ranged attack for the hanging pot.

1. From Castle Front, ride south to the crossroads, turn east and follow the road to the next fork. Take the right-hand dirt track, then the left fork downhill toward the southeast.
2. Pass the bloodfiends and descend into the shallow poison area. Follow the lower path down toward the river rather than climbing toward the fort; watch for militia and poison traps along the descent.
3. At the bottom is a shallow pool with a giant crab. Turn southwest into the opening in the cliff, continue through the cave past the Revered Spirit Ash chamber and activate Ellac River Cave grace.
4. Leave by the southern cave exit and turn south along the river. Use Torrent to cross the successive rock ledges beside the waterfall, landing on the nearby rocks rather than jumping to the valley floor.
5. Continue down the ledge path past the stone birds, watching for the living ones to attack. Drop down the short rock steps to Ellac River Downstream grace.
6. Continue south and southeast toward the next waterfall. Find the pot hanging beside the rock crossing in front of the falls and break it with a ranged attack.
7. Use the crossing and successive lower ledges to reach the dropped item at the bottom. Collect Mushroom-Seller's Bell Bearing (2); jumping straight from the upper waterfall is unsafe.
8. Offer the bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold. Their unlocked main shop sells Whiteflesh Mushroom for 2,000 runes each with unlimited stock.

Notes

• Used in Frenzied Flame Pot, Roped Frenzied Flame Pot and Eternal Sleep Pot, with one mushroom per craft. Each has its own recipe and other ingredients.
• Hefty Freezing Pot, Hefty Frenzied Flame Pot, Hefty Oil Pot and Hefty Rancor Pot each need three Whiteflesh Mushrooms. Their reusable Hefty Cracked Pot is separate from the materials spent.
• Mushroom-Seller's Bell Bearing (2) unlocks unlimited stock at the Twin Maiden Husks for 2,000 runes each. A three-mushroom craft costs 6,000 runes for these alone.
• The opening outdoor pickups are around the trees outside Western Nameless Mausoleum. You can collect them without fighting the Blackgaol Knight inside.
• Whiteflesh Mushroom, Redflesh Mushroom and Toxic Mushroom are different ingredients. Their names and appearance do not make them interchangeable.
• Eternal Sleep Pot also needs Deep-Purple Lily. Buying more mushrooms does not provide that separate ingredient or unlock its cookbook.
