In-game description
A medallion with cerulean amber inlaid.
Greatly boosts maximum FP.
The Erdtree's old sap becomes amber, treasured as the most precious of jewels in the age of Godfrey, the first Elden Lord.
A primordial life energy resides inside.
Where to find
Castle Sol southern battlement
Mountaintops of the Giants
Starting Site of Grace: Church of the Eclipse
- Use the ordinary Rold Medallion at the Grand Lift of Rold to reach the Mountaintops. From Zamor Ruins, follow the eastern path around north through the mountain gap and across the narrow stone crossing, using its low cover against the Golem's arrows.
- Continue to Ancient Snow Valley Ruins and follow the valley north. Turn right along the frozen river, then climb the left-side path by the cliffs to Freezing Lake grace.
- From Freezing Lake, follow the cliff uphill around to the west rather than crossing the lake. Pass through the graveyard toward Snow Valley Ruins Overlook and continue west over the high ground.
- At the larger graveyard, take the descent north toward the walking mausoleum and Castle Sol. Activate Castle Sol Main Gate grace outside the entrance, away from the mausoleum's feet.
- Enter the courtyard and pass the two Lion Guardians to the stairs at the back. Climb both flights, cross the upper area with dogs and a hawk, then enter the doorway at the far end.
- Climb the stairs through the appearing soldiers. Pass the knight at the top and enter the building on the left for Church of the Eclipse grace.
- From Church of the Eclipse grace, go through the church and leave by its eastern side doorway. Turn right around the outside of the building toward the two crossbowmen rather than entering the opposite building on the boss route.
- Climb the ladder behind the church and follow the wall and wooden walkway west. At the other end, use the ladder down onto the southern rampart.
- Watch for the red-eyed Banished Knight with two swords. It can teleport behind you, so do not assume its turned back makes the narrow walkway safe.
- Continue to the wooden scaffolding and loot the hanging corpse for the medallion. Commander Niall does not need to be defeated.
Notes
- Raises maximum FP by 9%, compared with 7% from the basic medallion. A larger underlying FP pool receives a larger increase in points.
- It does not increase spell or skill damage, reduce FP costs or improve Cerulean Flask restoration.
- Can be worn with Cerulean Seed Talisman for a larger FP pool and stronger flask refills. Those are separate effects.
- Cannot be equipped with another Cerulean Amber Medallion variant. You can collect the +1 without owning the basic version.
- The corpse is on Castle Sol's battlements. Commander Niall is not required, so this is available before finishing the castle's boss route.
