1. At Outer Wall Phantom Tree in the Capital Outskirts, follow the road south and southeast toward the southern end of the outer walls.
2. Continue to Minor Erdtree Church, the ruined church with small golden trees inside. This route stays outside Leyndell; the guarded city entrance is not required.
3. Enter the ruins, activate the grace and loot the corpse leaning beside the large pot for the cookbook.
4. Buy the Crafting Kit from Kalé at Church of Elleh for 300 runes if Item Crafting is still locked. The cookbook alone does not unlock the crafting menu.
5. With the book and materials in your inventory, open Item Crafting outside combat and select Haligbone Arrow (Fletched). One craft makes 10.

Notes

• One craft makes 10, using 3 Thin Beast Bones, 2 Golden Sunflower and 1 Flight Pinion. You keep the cookbook and Crafting Kit; only the ingredients are spent.
• Ammunition for bows and light bows. It does not fit a greatbow, crossbow or ballista weapon.
• Adds 13 Physical and 93 Holy attack power to the shot. This is the ammunition contribution, before the ranged weapon, skill, distance and enemy defenses determine the actual damage.
• The Flight Pinion gives this version better flight distance. Its listed attack power and status buildup are the same as the unfletched version; the feather is not an extra damage or buildup upgrade.
• Deals Physical and Holy damage, which meet the enemy's defenses separately. Holy-resistant late bosses may suffer less damage than the combined attack number suggests.
• The ammunition itself has no Faith scaling. Faith only adds scaling damage if the weapon firing it actually uses Faith; loading it into an ordinary crossbow does not create Faith scaling.
• Unlike Golden Arrow, it does not prevent a defeated skeleton from reviving. Strike the remains while they glow if you want to stop the skeleton getting back up.
• Carry up to 99 of this type. It has its own stack, separate from the other arrow types.
