About this item
Use one to add 15,000 runes to your carried total. The item is consumed. Selling one to a merchant gives the same 15,000 runes, so neither option increases its value.
The unspent item stays in your inventory when you die. Once converted into runes, its value follows the normal death-and-recovery rules, so use only what you need for a purchase or a level.
Golden Scarab and rune-gain foods do not increase this fixed item value. Those bonuses apply to eligible rune rewards from enemies instead.

In-game description
Grace that dwells within the inhabitants of the Lands Between; the lingering residue of gold.
Use to gain 15000 runes.
There were once heroes who walked the battlefields, abundantly blessed by the Erdtree itself, who upon earning their honor simply died.
Where to find
Side chamber after the first snail in Spiritcaller Cave
Mountaintops of the Giants
Starting Site of Grace: Spiritcaller Cave
Before you go
- Reach the Mountaintops using the Rold Medallion after Morgott. At Freezing Lake grace, follow the western edge of the frozen lake southeast toward the cave in the cliff, marked by floating jellyfish.
- Spend two Stonesword Keys at the entrance statue and activate Spiritcaller Cave grace. Bring a Lantern or another light for the dark passages.
- Follow the opening passage past the summoning pool. Avoid the fragile floor in the first chamber and take the opening on its southern side.
- In the first lit chamber, kill the small Spiritcaller Snail to remove its summoned wolves, then follow the southwest passage. At the fork, the left side is a loot room; the other branch goes deeper.
- Take the left fork into the dead-end side chamber. Loot the corpses here for Hero's Rune [1], Golden Rune [10] and a Rune Arc.
- Return to the fork when you want to continue. The rune is already collected; the lower samurai rooms and boss fight are unnecessary for it.
Notes
- Use one to add 15,000 runes to your carried total. The item is consumed. Selling one to a merchant gives the same 15,000 runes, so neither option increases its value.
- The unspent item stays in your inventory when you die. Once converted into runes, its value follows the normal death-and-recovery rules, so use only what you need for a purchase or a level.
- Golden Scarab and rune-gain foods do not increase this fixed item value. Those bonuses apply to eligible rune rewards from enemies instead.
- Can hold 99, with another 600 in storage. Unused copies carry into a later Journey, and their individual rune value stays the same.
- This is spendable currency, rather than a permanent level increase. You still choose whether to spend the runes on levels, equipment, upgrades or another purchase.
