About this item

Use one to gain 20,000 runes. Selling one to a merchant gives the same 20,000, so selling it does not increase its value.

The item stays in your inventory when you die. After you consume or sell it, those runes join your carried total and follow the ordinary death-and-recovery rules.

Golden Scarab and rune-gain foods do not increase this fixed value. Those effects improve eligible enemy rune rewards instead.

In-game description

Grace that dwells within the inhabitants of the Lands Between; the lingering residue of gold.

Use to gain 20000 runes.

There were once heroes who walked the battlefields, abundantly blessed by the Erdtree itself, who upon earning their honor simply died.

Where to find

Corpse beside the terrace stairs

Crumbling Farum Azula

Starting Site of Grace: Crumbling Beast Grave Depths

  1. Defeat the Fire Giant and advance the story at the giant fire basin to reach Crumbling Farum Azula.
  2. Follow the early ruins past the dragon encounter and activate Crumbling Beast Grave Depths.
  3. Leave toward the large adjoining building and follow its southwestern side to the stairs down to the terrace.
  4. Search the corpse lying against the wall beside those stairs for the rune.
  5. Loot the body beside the terrace stairs, rather than the prayerbook in the large hall's center. The dragon is not required to die for this corpse pickup.

Notes

  • The item stays in your inventory when you die. After you consume or sell it, those runes join your carried total and follow the ordinary death-and-recovery rules.

  • The selected corpse is beside the terrace stairs reached from Crumbling Beast Grave Depths. It is a fixed pickup, rather than a renewable reward for resting beside that grace.
  • The (2) is the Hero's Rune tier. Its 20,000-rune value is different from the 25,000 awarded by Hero's Rune (3).
