About this item

Use one to add 50,000 runes to your carried total. The item is consumed. Selling one to a merchant gives the same 50,000 runes, so neither option increases its value.

The unspent item stays in your inventory when you die. Once converted into runes, its value follows the normal death-and-recovery rules, so use only what you need for a purchase or a level.

Golden Scarab and rune-gain foods do not increase this fixed item value. Those bonuses apply to eligible rune rewards from enemies instead.

In-game description

Grace that dwells within the inhabitants of the Lands Between; true vestiges of gold.

Use to gain 50000 runes.

Runes of one who was destined to become a Lord, but when the Elden Ring was shattered, all that remained was a distant duty.

Where to find

Patrolling Erdtree Avatar on the main avenue

Leyndell, Royal Capital

Starting Site of Grace: Avenue Balcony

Before you go

  • Enter Leyndell, Royal Capital before defeating Maliketh.
  1. From Avenue Balcony grace, climb the stairs back to the main avenue. The Erdtree Avatar appears on the road nearby; clear the ordinary enemies so they do not join the fight.
  2. Defeat the Avatar to receive Lord's Rune. It is awarded directly for the victory, rather than hidden in a chest farther down the road.
  3. The Avatar is a one-time encounter. If you only want to continue through the capital, you can pass it and return for this reward before defeating Maliketh.

Notes

  • Use one to add 50,000 runes to your carried total. The item is consumed. Selling one to a merchant gives the same 50,000 runes, so neither option increases its value.
  • The unspent item stays in your inventory when you die. Once converted into runes, its value follows the normal death-and-recovery rules, so use only what you need for a purchase or a level.
  • Golden Scarab and rune-gain foods do not increase this fixed item value. Those bonuses apply to eligible rune rewards from enemies instead.
  • Can hold 99, with another 600 in storage. Unused copies carry into a later Journey, and their individual rune value stays the same.
  • The main-avenue Erdtree Avatar in Leyndell drops a Lord's Rune once. The rune item and the ordinary runes awarded for the kill are separate rewards; resting does not respawn that Avatar for another item.
  • Collect the capital pickup before defeating Maliketh and changing Leyndell into the Ashen Capital. Other copies elsewhere are separate pickups.
