About this item
Use one to add 80,000 runes to your carried total. The item is consumed. Selling one to a merchant gives the same 80,000 runes, so neither option increases its value.
The unspent item stays in your inventory when you die. Once converted into runes, its value follows the normal death-and-recovery rules, so use only what you need for a purchase or a level.
Golden Scarab and rune-gain foods do not increase this fixed item value. Those bonuses apply to eligible rune rewards from enemies instead.

In-game description
Golden remnants of the grace personally bestowed by Queen Marika to the heroes who joined the crusade for her.
Use to gain 80000 runes.
The brilliance of Queen Marika's grace blinds even the very best.
Where to find
Corpse pile beneath Fort of Reprimand courtyard
Scadu Altus
Starting Site of Grace: Fort of Reprimand
- After leaving Castle Ensis on the Scadu Altus side, follow the road and take the southeastern branch toward Fort of Reprimand. Enter through the main gate.
- An Omenkiller patrols the courtyard around the execution platform. Clear enough room to reach the northeastern corner, where a square opening leads below the courtyard.
- Drop through that opening into the corpse-filled chamber. Another Omenkiller can ambush you below, so deal with it before climbing over the bodies.
- Climb the heap of bodies and rubble and collect Marika's Rune from the corpse on top. The Iris of Occultation associated with the lower Omenkiller is a separate reward.
- Black Knight Edredd is in another part of the fort. You do not need to defeat him to collect this rune.
Notes
- Use one to add 80,000 runes to your carried total. The item is consumed. Selling one to a merchant gives the same 80,000 runes, so neither option increases its value.
- The unspent item stays in your inventory when you die. Once converted into runes, its value follows the normal death-and-recovery rules, so use only what you need for a purchase or a level.
- Golden Scarab and rune-gain foods do not increase this fixed item value. Those bonuses apply to eligible rune rewards from enemies instead.
- Can hold 99, with another 600 in storage. Unused copies carry into a later Journey, and their individual rune value stays the same.
- At 80,000 runes per item, this has the largest fixed rune value among these consumable rune items. It does not activate a Great Rune, raise the Scadutree Blessing or grant a separate combat effect.
