Notes
- One craft makes 10, using 3 Thin Beast Bones and 1 Aeonian Butterfly. You keep the cookbook and Crafting Kit; only the ingredients are spent.
- Ammunition for bows and light bows. It does not fit a greatbow, crossbow or ballista weapon.
- Adds 28 Physical attack power to the shot. This is the ammunition contribution, before the ranged weapon, skill, distance and enemy defenses determine the actual damage.
- This version saves the Flight Pinion but has shorter flight than its fletched counterpart. Use the fletched version for distant targets rather than assuming the same shot will reach equally well.
- Has 50 base Scarlet Rot buildup per ordinary hit. The target's resistance must be overcome before the status triggers; damage and buildup are different parts of the shot.
- Ranged skills and burst weapons can apply their own buildup modifiers. Several projectiles connecting does not always apply the full ordinary-hit value for each one.
- Scarlet Rot drains health after enough buildup. Applying more of the same rot while it is active does not create several overlapping copies; switch to other damage once it is working.
- Rot buildup does not increase with Arcane, including when these arrows are fired from Serpent Bow. That bow can add its own Poison buildup, which is separate from the arrow's rot.
- The recipe spends Aeonian Butterflies. Use plain ammunition on rot-immune enemies rather than spending this ingredient for no status benefit.
- Carry up to 99 of this type. It has its own stack, separate from the other arrow types.
