About this item

Use one to gain 10,000 runes. Selling one to a merchant gives the same 10,000, so selling it does not increase its value.

The item stays in your inventory when you die. After you consume or sell it, those runes join your carried total and follow the ordinary death-and-recovery rules.

Golden Scarab and rune-gain foods do not increase this fixed value. Those effects improve eligible enemy rune rewards instead.

In-game description

Golden remnants of the grace bestowed upon those who fell in the realm of shadow.

Use to gain 10000 runes.

The Scadutree is the shadow of the Erdtree.

No wonder grace shines ever so brilliantly.

Where to find

Behind breakable jars in Scorched Ruins

Gravesite Plain

Starting Site of Grace: Scorched Ruins

  1. After defeating Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, touch the withered arm in Mohg's arena. Leave the arrival cave and activate Gravesite Plain.
  2. Follow the road northeast from Gravesite Plain to Scorched Ruins.
  3. Search the lower southwestern side of the ruins for the staircase leading into a building.
  4. Break the jars at the base of those stairs and collect the hidden rune. You do not need to climb to the Blade of Mercy chest.

Notes

  • Use one to gain 10,000 runes. Selling one to a merchant gives the same 10,000, so selling it does not increase its value.

  • Golden Scarab and rune-gain foods do not increase this fixed value. Those effects improve eligible enemy rune rewards instead.
  • You can carry 99 and store another 600. Unused copies carry into a later journey with the same value per item.
  • This is currency, rather than an automatic level increase. Use only what you need before spending it on levels, upgrades or purchases.
  • The selected pickup is behind jars at the lower southwestern stairs in Scorched Ruins. Blade of Mercy is in the upper chest and is a separate pickup.
  • This is ordinary spendable currency. It does not raise either Shadow Realm blessing and can be spent outside the expansion.
