About this item

Use one to gain 12,500 runes. Selling one to a merchant gives the same 12,500, so selling it does not increase its value.

The item stays in your inventory when you die. After you consume or sell it, those runes join your carried total and follow the ordinary death-and-recovery rules.

Golden Scarab and rune-gain foods do not increase this fixed value. Those effects improve eligible enemy rune rewards instead.

Golden remnants of the grace bestowed upon those who fell in the realm of shadow.

Use to gain 12500 runes.

Where to find

Corpse hanging from the eastern Moorth Ruins roof

Scadu Altus

Starting Site of Grace: Moorth Ruins

  1. From Highroad Cross in Scadu Altus, follow the road east to Moorth Ruins and activate the grace beside the cross.
  2. From Moorth Ruins grace, head southeast through the large stone arch.
  3. Continue around the northeastern side of the building beside the Shattered Stone Talisman room.
  4. Climb onto the low roof or ledge and collect the rune from the corpse hanging over its edge. The route below continues into the hole toward Bonny Village.

Notes

  • Use one to gain 12,500 runes. Selling one to a merchant gives the same 12,500, so selling it does not increase its value.
  • The item stays in your inventory when you die. After you consume or sell it, those runes join your carried total and follow the ordinary death-and-recovery rules.
  • Golden Scarab and rune-gain foods do not increase this fixed value. Those effects improve eligible enemy rune rewards instead.
  • You can carry 99 and store another 600. Unused copies carry into a later journey with the same value per item.
  • This is currency, rather than an automatic level increase. Use only what you need before spending it on levels, upgrades or purchases.
  • The selected corpse hangs over a roof edge in Moorth Ruins. It is near Shattered Stone Talisman, rather than at the bottom of the deep shaft.
  • This is ordinary currency for levels, upgrades and purchases, including outside the Realm of Shadow. It does not increase either blessing.
