Before you go

• Materials for one batch: 3 Thin Beast Bones and 2 Cracked Crystal
• 1,500 runes

1. Descend from Lake-Facing Cliffs along the southern Liurnia road.
2. At Liurnia Lake Shore, look for the merchant sitting by a campfire beside the grace.
3. Open his shop and buy the cookbook for 1,500 runes.
4. Buy the Crafting Kit from Kalé at Church of Elleh for 300 runes if the crafting menu is still locked.
5. With the cookbook, three Thin Beast Bones and two Cracked Crystals, open Item Crafting outside combat. Select Shattershard Arrow to make ten.

Notes

• One craft makes ten, using three Thin Beast Bones and two Cracked Crystals. The eleventh Nomadic Warrior book unlocks the recipe; neither the book nor the Crafting Kit is consumed.
• The impact makes a noise that can draw nearby enemies toward that location. Shoot the ground away from your hiding place if you want to pull attention away from yourself.
• The sound is a distraction rather than a charm. It does not make an enemy your ally or guarantee that an enemy already attacking you will abandon the fight.
• An ordinary arrow for bows and light bows, with 28 Physical attack power and no built-in damaging status. Its main use is placing the sound where you need it.
• The fletched version travels farther but has 25 Physical attack power and no usable crafting recipe. Finding the eleventh book does not unlock a second fletched recipe.
• Carry up to 99 of this type. You need a bow and an arrow slot; this is ammunition rather than a noise-making stone thrown from the item bar.
