1. Start at Rampart Tower inside Stormveil. Go through the north door onto the rampart with the barrel-carrying Warhawks, then look east for the adjacent roof.
2. Use a running jump over the low wall to reach that roof. Cross east toward the fallen stone column. Do not climb the column toward the Claw Talisman tower for this route.
3. At the column, jump over the eastern wall onto the small connecting roof. Turn left and stay along the upper ledge instead of stepping into the deep drop.
4. Follow the ledge to the next lower walkway, then drop again to the rampart with two enemies facing away. Clear them if needed before crossing the narrow bridge.
5. Go north over the wooden bridge to the platform guarded by two ordinary soldiers. Loot the hunched corpse directly ahead for Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [10].
6. The ladder continuing southeast leads toward another part of the castle. The book is on this platform; no Stonesword Key or Godrick victory is required for the rooftop pickup.
7. Buy the Crafting Kit from Kalé at Church of Elleh for 300 runes if Item Crafting is locked.
8. With three Thin Beast Bones and one Stormhawk Feather, select Stormwing Bone Arrow in Item Crafting outside combat. One craft makes ten.

Notes

• One craft makes ten for three Thin Beast Bones and one Stormhawk Feather. Ordinary Flight Pinions cannot replace the feather in this recipe.
• Bow and light-bow ammunition with 58 Physical attack power, compared with 45 for Arrow and 42 for Bone Arrow. The final hit still depends on the bow, skill, distance and defenses.
• An ordinary hit deals five base stance damage instead of the usual two for an ordinary arrow. It also has 45 base guard-stamina damage instead of five, making it much better at pressuring a raised shield.
• Stance damage and guard-stamina damage are different. These values do not guarantee that one shot breaks an enemy's stance or drains its whole stamina bar.
• Its wind can stagger lighter enemies, but a large enemy or boss may keep attacking. Bow skills apply their own damage and stance modifiers to the shot.
• Enraged Divine Beast boosts this arrow's damage by 10% because it qualifies as a storm attack. That damage bonus does not also mean 10% more stance or guard-stamina damage.
• Has no built-in Blood Loss, Poison, Sleep or Frostbite. Use an appropriate status arrow instead if filling one of those meters is the main goal.
• Carry up to 99 of this type. The tenth cookbook makes this one special arrow recipe; there is no separate unfletched Stormwing recipe to unlock.
