Only the Lightning part of a mixed hit receives this reduction. It does not make every attack from an enemy using that element deal less damage.

Cannot be equipped with another Boltdrake variant. Earlier versions are not required to collect or use a stronger one.

Boosts lightning damage negation.

The ancient dragons, who ruled in the prehistoric era before the Erdtree, would protect their lord as a wall of living rock.

And so it is that the shape of the dragon has become symbolic of all manner of protections.

Starting Site of Grace: Limgrave Tower Bridge

  1. Enter Stormveil Castle and reach the main courtyard. The route to the Divine Tower bridge branches toward the eastern side of the castle, past the Lion Guardian.
  2. Go through the large hall lined with armored statues. Its outer arch opens toward the bridge and the Limgrave Tower Bridge grace.
  3. Activate the grace before going farther. The talisman is still on the castle side, before the long bridge with the golems.
  4. Check the body against a pillar beside the first short flight of steps. Loot it for the Boltdrake Talisman.
  5. You do not need to kill Godrick, fight the bridge golems or activate the Divine Tower to collect it.

Notes

  • Reduces incoming Lightning damage by 13% against enemies or 4% against other players. The smaller player-versus-player value applies against player attacks, rather than using the enemy reduction everywhere.
  • Only the Lightning part of a mixed hit receives this reduction. It does not make every attack from an enemy using that element deal less damage.
  • Cannot be equipped with another Boltdrake variant. Earlier versions are not required to collect or use a stronger one.
  • Pearldrake Talisman can provide another compatible layer against this element. The reductions multiply rather than adding their percentages together.
  • Does not strengthen your Lightning attacks or protect you from a dragon's physical claws. Lightning damage also has no separate buildup meter for this talisman to resist.
  • With 25% existing negation for a covered damage type, its 13% enemy reduction gives 34.75% total negation. It is not an extra 13 percentage points added directly to the armor display.
  • The corpse is on Stormveil's castle side of Limgrave Tower Bridge. Godrick, the bridge golems and the Divine Tower activation are unnecessary for this pickup.
  • Weighs 0.6. Its protection stays active while equipped; it does not need FP, a casting tool or an attribute requirement.
