Blood Loss triggers a burst only after enough buildup. Enemies immune to it take the direct hit without the extra burst.

The ordinary crossbow's lack of Arcane scaling means extra Arcane does not strengthen this buildup. Burst weapons can also modify buildup per projectile, so three hits do not necessarily apply three full ordinary-hit amounts.

Before you go

  • Have 200 runes per item.
  • Reach Mohgwyn Palace using the Pureblood Knight's Medal or the sending gate in western Consecrated Snowfield.
  1. Reach Mohgwyn Palace through Varre's Pureblood Knight's Medal or the sending gate in western Consecrated Snowfield.
  2. At Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance, follow the rising path past the wandering corpses into the dark cave. Bring a lantern or torch.
  3. Take the left passage near the entrance to find the merchant. Watch for Sanguine Nobles appearing nearby and clear the approach before opening the shop.
  4. Choose Purchase and buy Burred Bolts for 200 runes each.

  • Mohg does not need to be defeated for the shop. Clear nearby Sanguine Nobles before shopping so an enemy does not interrupt the conversation.
