It does not discount sorceries or incantations. It also leaves a skill's damage, stamina cost and animation speed unchanged.

Skills with separate follow-up costs can benefit on those costs too. A skill that already costs no FP has nothing for the crest to reduce.

Before you go

  • Unlock Iji's special stock.
  • 5,000 runes.
  1. Visit Mistwood Ruins in eastern Limgrave and listen for the howling. Return to Merchant Kale at the Church of Elleh and ask about it to learn Finger Snap.
  2. Use Finger Snap beneath the tall ruin at Mistwood Ruins. Speak to Blaidd after he jumps down, then defeat Bloodhound Knight Darriwil at the Forlorn Hound Evergaol in southern Limgrave.
  3. Speak to Blaidd outside the evergaol until he mentions Iji. Summoning Blaidd for the fight is optional, but finish the conversation afterward.
  4. Travel along western Liurnia to Kingsrealm Ruins. Strike or roll through the false wall at the northern end to reach Road to the Manor and the giant blacksmith Iji.
  5. Tell Iji that Blaidd sent you, then buy the crest for 5,000 runes. Entering Ranni's service and speaking to her servants also unlocks it if you have moved beyond Blaidd's early meetings.
  6. If Iji is already dead and the stock was unlocked, give Iji's Bell Bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold and buy it there.

  • It does not discount sorceries or incantations. It also leaves a skill's damage, stamina cost and animation speed unchanged.
  • Skills with separate follow-up costs can benefit on those costs too. A skill that already costs no FP has nothing for the crest to reduce.
  • Can be worn with Ash-of-War Scarab. Their reductions multiply to a 36.25% discount before whole-number FP rounding. The scarab's defensive penalty still applies.
  • The discount makes repeated skill use cheaper without increasing maximum FP. It does not restore FP that has already been spent.
  • Blaidd's referral provides an early shop unlock. You do not need to finish Ranni's quest or hand over the Fingerslayer Blade to buy the crest.
